My Love of Music

Published by gypsyblue at 12:11 am under art Edit This

Music to me is happiness.  When I listen to music it puts me in a great mood.  If I am down or not feeling well all I really have to do is put on some music and wham, I’m doing better.  Before I know it I’m bopping my head and tapping my foot.  Pretty soon I’m singing! I don’t really know what it is about music, but it is like magic to me.  I can think better and clearer when it’s playing.  Now when it comes to the television being on, it does nothing for me in the way music does.

From Korn to Beethovan, I quite simply adore it!  However, I am not a big fan of country or polka music.  It kind of makes my ears bleed!  Yell  If you enjoy that kind of music, please forgive me.  I’m just stating the facts.

Listening to my favorite music gives me energy when I need it.  It also calms me down when I need to be calm.  Music motivates me to write, do chores, or just about anything that requires energy.

Music, like writing, is a great outlet for me.  I would be a lost, sad soul without it.

I have loved music since I can remember.  My parents were always listening to music when I was a child.

As I grew up I developed my own taste in music.  Which I admit can be quite eclectic.

I went to my very first concert when I was ten.  With my Mom!  The band was Deep Purple.  I remember the excitement and how awesome the feeling was.   Feeling the bass and drums go right through me!  Incredible!  I also remember my Mom asking me who was burning rope.Laughing  How hilarious is that?

What can I say?  That’s my love of music…
